One thing I try to do at work is take time away from my desk for lunch. At the consulting firm I work for, we each mostly work solo on projects, and so there are fewer natural opportunities for social interactions (compared with companies where people work together in teams). I typically bring my lunch (and some knitting) into the conference room: some days people join me, other days I'm there by myself. Today, my colleagues Jill (pictured) and Sim (who took the photo) joined me.
