yeah. What I'm not sure of is whether it has GPS - something this smart should know where you are, and give you a 'you-are-here' local street map. I also think there should be a camera pointing towards you, for visual communications. But yeah.
From what I understand, there is no GPS. Also, the storage 8 MB (flash memory) is pretty skimpy for the price point. But otherwise, it's gorgeous. I am very interested to getting my hands on the interface to see the "multi-touch" screen in action.
Right, the interface seems revolutionary. If an Apple notebook is coming, I bet it uses this technology. There'd be space enough for more flash memory, and you could essentially have the features of a present-day laptop, in an instant-on device that weighs two pounds or something.
Yes good point - the fact they've got this phone running OS X, plus the touch-based interface, puts them in a good position to execute on an ultra-portable in a way that way beyond what Microsoft did with their Ultra-Mobile PC.
