Last gasp of the holiday
We stayed home last night, but went to friends' open house this afternoon and are having some folks from our building over this evening for dessert.
I am always a bit sad, but then also relieved, when the holidays are over. Sad to take down the tree, store the decorations for the year. But, happy to have the house back to "normal." And happy to get back into a more typical day-to-day routine.
