Donegal Tweed

In visiting my cousin Carol in Madison, WI I discovered her sister (my cousin Chris, who lives in Northern Ireland) sells Irish Donegal Tweed yarn on eBay. I couldn't resist bidding on this deep red tweed, which I subsequently won:

And, of course, then I needed to find a pattern to go with it:

Sweater

It's got set-in sleeves, which I haven't done in a long time, but I still think it's within my capabilities. I may do an easier sweater before I tackle this just to get my sweater-making chops back a bit.

In other knitting news, I'll post soon the photos of the two scarves I've made. I'm really pleased with how both turned out.
