All things organized
Via Merlin Mann over at 43 Folders, this is my favorite run-down of organizing tools.
Two years ago, I decided to give David Allen's Getting Things Done method a try. For years, I had been following the Franklin-Covey planning method, though somewhat loosely. I wasn't entirely satisfied with it, so I was open to a different approach.
At the start of January last year, I wrote about my first year of Getting Things Done over on my professional blog. In re-reading this post this morning, most I what I wrote still holds true. I go through periods of more and less compliance with my organizing routines, but overall I have achieved a fairly steady (and satisfied) state with it.
