24 years today...

...that's how long Drake and I have been married.

We actually celebrated last night, going out for a nice dinner together.

He bought me a couple of dozen beautiful pink roses, which are now gracing our dining area buffet.

When I was small, my mom told me about "love" -- how somewhere in the world my "knight in shining armor" was waiting for me. I used to try to image who he was and what he was doing.

(Years later, my mom was mildly horrified how much impact this story had on me -- I think it was one of those things she just kind of tossed off.)

But, the thing is, I did find my knight. I'm not sure how I got so lucky.
